In collaboration with Humboldt University of Berlin, the platoniq app was evaluated as a tool against loneliness with more than 100 participants.
After just 4 weeks, 73% of participants experienced a reduction in their loneliness. The results were statistically significant (p < 0.01) with a meaningful reduction in loneliness (large effect, d ≈ 0.8).
This study only tested loneliness reduction. Another study measuring stress reduction is currently in planning.
